Kreston Reeves named top 10 firm in Accountancy Age ‘Power Index’
Accountants, business and wealth advisers Kreston Reeves has been ranked one of the UK’s top 10 accountancy firms in the inaugural Accountancy Age Mid-Tier Power Index.
The Accountancy Age Mid-Tier Power Index 2022 celebrates and recognises excellence in the accountancy profession and ranks Kreston Reeves in eighth place.
The influential online trade publication ranked firms based on four categories: strategic planning, profitability and growth, professional excellence, and people and community.
Kreston Reeves is currently quantitatively ranked by Accountancy Age as the 26th largest accountancy firm in the UK by turnover, yet they rank the firm higher based on the qualitative criteria in the four measures that make up its Power Index: strategic planning, profitability and growth, professional excellence, and people and community.
Andrew Griggs, Senior Partner at Kreston Reeves, said: “We have made significant investment in our firm and our people, creating a strong purpose-led organisation driven by our values and it’s fantastic that this and all our people’s efforts for each other and their clients have been recognised in this way.”
Kreston Reeves has a clear strategy defined by its purpose of guiding clients, colleagues and communities to a brighter future and its vision, ‘to make a difference and lead the way as a sustainable and socially focused adviser, known for a personal, proactive and passionate approach, creating growth opportunities in London, the South East and beyond’.
The firm constantly strives to:
- Understand and invest in their people.
- Embed quality alongside a personal and proactive client service offering more than just accounting, business and financial advice.
- Hold themselves accountable against four UN Sustainable Development Goals: climate action, good health/wellbeing, reduced inequalities, and quality education.
- Be a sustainable firm. The firm is carbon neutral planting trees for every client, every year.
Andrew Griggs continues: “Our strategy and making sure our clients, colleagues and communities are at the heart of all we do is delivering tangible results. The firm is achieving sustainably organic growth and is recognised as an employer of choice for those wishing to start and build their careers in the accountancy profession. We’re delighted our firm and our people’s hard work and dedication has been recognised in the inaugural Accountancy Age Mid-Tier Power Index.”
The Accountancy Age Mid-Tier Power Index ranking follows the firm winning ‘Large Firm of the Year’ and ‘Tax Team of the Year’ at the Accounting Excellence Awards in September 2022 – the third year in a row and the fourth time in the last five years the firm has been named ‘Large Firm of the Year’.
